To succeed at any interview, you need to give yourself every chance of success. Whatever happens in an assessment, whether it’s an interview, a group assessment or a psychometric test, you’ll perform better if you are fully prepared and understand what the person assessing you is looking for!
In this module we’ll teach you the simple steps to best prepare for each interview. We like to think of these as ‘pre-flight checks’ - you should do these at every interview to be assured of flying high.

Learn how to research the role, the company and gather key information
Research and consider answers to questions asked at an interview
Gain an understanding of what employers look for at an interview
1. You’re the boss
For this activity we want you to be the boss. This will really help you understand what employers are looking for when interviewing.
How it works:
Pick a company you would like to be the boss for. This can be any company you want.
Spend 15 minutes learning about them and making some notes.
Read their ‘about’ page - try and find the company values
Read news articles and any press about their work
Look at their social media - what impression are they trying to give about their brand?

2. What are you looking for in your hires?
In this task, as the boss, we want you to think about what you would look for in the people you hire.
We want to know what questions you would ask a candidate at interview to know they’re the right hire.
